Unorules.org is a hobby project dedicated to our favorite game in the world. Can you guess which game we are talking about?
We wanted to create a simple, easy-to-understand guide that explains the ins and outs of this top-rated game.
This is an independent site with no affiliation to Mattel created only to serve you, the player.

About Unorules.org
If you are like most of our visitors, you have probably not thought about the ambiguous meaning of the name UnoRules.
It is a play on words and a double entendre meaning:
- Uno Rules! – Uno is the best game there is, so it Rules!
- Uno Rules? – What are the rules to the game of Uno?
Now you might be thinking, Why on earth are you telling me all this?
Well, we think that it sums up what we are doing here perfectly.
We think that Uno Rules! That is why we have made it our mission to spread the word about the #1 game globally, making it easier for more people to play it.
The best way to do that is by answering the question, What are the Uno Rules?
Isn’t a site about Uno excessive?
Not at all! Uno is one of the most popular games in the world. Although the game has simple rules and is easy to learn, there are a lot of situations that create valid questions that need to be answered. Besides, there are a lot of different versions with different rules that we can explore together.
If that’s not enough, the game has been here for a long time. Maybe you lost the rules, don’t remember them, or don’t want to read the small print on the included rules. Or maybe you want to find the answer quickly.
We all come from different places in the world and with different backgrounds, and it is with that in mind we have created this site.

It is based on all the official Uno Rules but rewritten to make it even easier to play. You can use it to learn the game easier, explore different situations or treat it as a step-by-step Uno guide when you are learning the game. In other words, the Official Uno rules made fun and easy!
Uno Rules PDF
For those of you that insist on reading the original Uno Rules included in the Uno package, this section is for you. Here you will find Official Uno Rules as described by the Uno producer, Mattel. The only difference is that we added some color, bullet points, pictures in our Uno Rules PDF and made it more fun to read and learn than the boring black and white original.
Our mission is to Spread the Fun.
All this has taken quite a bit of time and effort. We do this because we think it can help spread the fun of Uno all over the world!
